19 Falo em termos humanos por causa da fraqueza de sua carne; pois assim como você apresentou seus membros como servos à imundícia e à maldade sobre a maldade, ainda assim agora apresenta seus membros como servos à justiça para a santificação.

21 Que fruto, então, você tinha naquele tempo, nas coisas de que agora se envergonha? Pois o fim dessas coisas é a morte.

22 Mas agora, estando livre do pecado e tendo se tornado servos de Deus, você tem seu fruto de santificação e o resultado da vida eterna.

23 Pois o salário do pecado é a morte, mas o dom gratuito de Deus é a vida eterna em Cristo Jesus nosso Senhor.
