Plain dealing

Privacy policy

This app collects nothing about you. No account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no profile, nothing sold, nothing shared. There is no server holding anything of yours, because there is no server.

Where your things are kept

Your highlights, notes, diary, prayer requests, community posts, memory verses, reading plan, settings and language all live in your own device's storage. They never leave it unless you tap a button that says they will.

The only times anything leaves your device

  1. Finding a church — only when you tap Search. The place name goes to OpenStreetMap to fetch nearby churches. Nothing about you is attached.
  2. Downloading the Bible or the original languages — only when you tap the button, and only from this app's own address.
  3. Sharing — only when you tap Share. Your phone hands the text to whichever app you pick.
  4. The first load — your browser fetches the app itself, the same as any web page. After that it runs with no connection at all.

How to check this rather than trust it

Turn on aeroplane mode and use the app. On a computer, open the developer tools, go to the Network tab and walk through every screen — it stays empty. That test is run before every release and has to come back at zero.
