Ìwọ ha kọ ní ara Ejibiti náà, tí ó ṣọ̀tẹ̀ ṣáájú ọjọ́ wọ̀nyí, ti ó sì ti mú ẹgbàajì (4,000) ọkùnrin nínú àwọn tí í ṣe apànìyàn lẹ́yìn lọ sí ijù?”

“Aren’t you the Egyptian who incited a rebellion some time ago and led four thousand members of the ‘Assassins’ into the wilderness?”
Aren’t you then the Egyptian who before these days stirred up to sedition and led out into the wilderness the four thousand men of the Assassins?”

39 Ṣùgbọ́n Paulu sì wí pé, “Júù ní èmi jẹ́, ará Tarsu ìlú Kilikia, tí kì í ṣe ìlú yẹpẹrẹ kan, èmi síbẹ̀ ọ, fún mi ní ààyè láti bá àwọn ènìyàn wọ̀nyí sọ̀rọ̀!”
