28 Or che vi par egli? Un uomo avea due figliuoli. Accostatosi al primo disse: Figliuolo, va’ oggi a lavorare nella vigna.

30 E accostatosi al secondo, gli disse lo stesso. Ma egli, rispondendo, disse: Non voglio; ma poi, pentitosi, v’andò.

31 Qual de’ due fece la volontà del padre? Essi gli dissero: L’ultimo. E Gesù a loro: Io vi dico in verità: I pubblicani e le meretrici vanno innanzi a voi nel regno di Dio.

32 Poiché Giovanni è venuto a voi per la via della giustizia, e voi non gli avete creduto; ma i pubblicani e le meretrici gli hanno creduto; e voi, che avete veduto questo, neppur poi vi siete pentiti per credere a lui.
