Díẹ̀ bọ́ sórí ilẹ̀ àpáta, níbi tí erùpẹ̀ ko sí púpọ̀. Láìpẹ́ ọjọ́, ó hu jáde.

Some fell on rocky ground, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly because the soil was shallow.

3 “Ẹ fi etí sílẹ̀! Ní ọjọ́ kan, afúnrúgbìn kan jáde lọ láti lọ fúnrúgbìn rẹ̀.

7 Àwọn irúgbìn mìíràn sì bọ́ sáàrín ẹ̀gún, nígbà tí ẹ̀gún sì dàgbàsókè, ó fún wọn pa, tó bẹ́ẹ̀ tí àwọn irúgbìn náà kò le so èso.
8 Ṣùgbọ́n òmíràn bọ́ sí ilẹ̀ ọlọ́ràá, o sì so èso lọ́pọ̀lọ́pọ̀, òmíràn ọgbọọgbọ̀n, òmíràn ọgọọgọ́ta, àti òmíràn ọgọọgọ́rùn-ún.”
