Ǹjẹ́ níbẹ̀ ni wọ́n sì tẹ́ Jesu sí, nítorí ìpalẹ̀mọ́ àwọn Júù; àti nítorí ibojì náà wà nítòsí.

There laid they Jesus therefore because of the Jews' preparation day; for the sepulchre was nigh at hand.
And because it was the Jewish day of Preparation and the tomb was nearby, they placed Jesus there.
Then, because of the Jews’ Preparation Day (for the tomb was near at hand), they laid Jesus there.
