Jesu dalóhùn wí pé, “Ìwọ ó ha fi ẹ̀mí rẹ lélẹ̀ nítorí mi? Lóòótọ́ lóòótọ́ ni mo wí fún ọ, àkùkọ kì yóò kọ, kí ìwọ kí ó tó ṣẹ́ mi nígbà mẹ́ta!

Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice.
“Will you lay down your life for Me?” Jesus replied. “Truly, truly, I tell you, before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.
Jesus answered him, “Will you lay down your life for me? Most certainly I tell you, the rooster won’t crow until you have denied me three times.
