10 Il giusto ha cura della vita del suo bestiame, ma le viscere degli empi sono crudeli.
11 Chi coltiva la sua terra avrà pane da saziarsi, ma chi va dietro ai fannulloni e privo di senno.
12 L’empio agogna la preda de’ malvagi, ma la radice dei giusti porta il suo frutto.

14 Per il frutto della sua bocca l’uomo è saziato di beni, e ad ognuno è reso secondo l’opera delle sue mani.
15 La via dello stolto è diritta agli occhi suoi, ma chi ascolta i consigli è savio.
16 Lo stolto lascia scorger subito il suo cruccio, ma chi dissimula un affronto è uomo accorto.
