Essi gli risposero: Li farà perir malamente, cotesti scellerati, e allogherà la vigna ad altri lavoratori, i quali gliene renderanno il frutto a suo tempo.

“He will bring those wretches to a wretched end,” they replied, “and will rent out the vineyard to other tenants who will give him his share of the fruit at harvest time.”
They told him, “He will miserably destroy those miserable men, and will lease out the vineyard to other farmers who will give him the fruit in its season.”

43 Perciò io vi dico che il Regno di Dio vi sarà tolto, e sarà dato ad una gente che ne faccia i frutti.
44 E chi cadrà su questa pietra sarà sfracellato; ed ella stritolerà colui sul quale cadrà.
