Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.
Then Paul and Barnabas answered them boldly: “It was necessary to speak the word of God to you first. But since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles.
Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly, and said, “It was necessary that God’s word should be spoken to you first. Since indeed you thrust it from yourselves, and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles.

47 Nʼihi na nke a bụ ihe Onyenwe anyị nyere anyị nʼiwu, “ ‘Emeela m ka unu bụrụ ìhè nye ndị mba ọzọ, ka ị nwee ike weruo nzọpụta nʼebe niile ụwa sọtụrụ.’”
48 Mgbe ndị mba ọzọ nụrụ ihe ndị a, obi tọrọ ha ụtọ, ha sọpụkwara okwu nke Onyenwe anyị. Ya mere ndị niile a họpụtara inweta ndụ ebighị ebi bụ ndị kwenyerenụ.
49 Ya mere okwu Onyenwe anyị gbasara ruo ebe niile nʼobodo ahụ.
