और याकूब ने आँखें उठाकर यह देखा, कि एसाव चार सौ पुरुष संग लिये हुए चला आता है। तब उसने बच्चों को अलग-अलग बाँटकर लिआ और राहेल और दोनों दासियों को सौंप दिया।
