Prayer 25 of 35 · Psalm 75 · Psalm 67 · Psalm 118:11–12, 25 · Psalm 34:10 · Psalm 105:24
A chain, and the order is the argument. Psalm 75 establishes who promotes. Psalm 67 establishes why. Psalm 118 is the testimony of someone surrounded like bees who watched the siege collapse 'as the fire of thorns' — fast and loud and over. Psalm 34:10 promises no good thing withheld. Psalm 105:24 is the evidence: 'He increased his people greatly.'
Father, I give thanks unto You, for Your wondrous works declare that Your name is near. Promotion comes neither from the east nor from the west — You are the judge, and You set up one and put down another. They compassed me about like bees, but in Your name I will destroy them; they are quenched as the fire of thorns. Save now, I beseech You, O LORD; O LORD, send now prosperity. Open the doors no man can shut, and shut the doors that have been draining my life. Let me lack no good thing. Increase me greatly, as You increased Your people — and let the increase reach my household, my work, and the people I am responsible for. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Morning, aloud and standing, for twenty-one days.
