Father, before I say one word about my case, I want to say this: You are righteous, and You have never once handed down a wrong verdict. I am not coming to persuade You. I am coming to stand where You already are.

And Lord — if the outcome is not what I am asking for, hold me anyway. You were God before this case and You will be God after it.
