New believer · 30 days
Most people who pray a salvation prayer are handed a welcome message and nothing else. This is what should happen instead: thirty days of short, concrete steps that establish the four things a new believer actually needs — the word, prayer, church, and telling someone.
John 1:12
You are a child of God. Not on probation, not on trial. Read John 1 today and underline verse 12.
Father, thank You that I am Yours. Let that settle in me before anything else. Amen.
Checkpoint: Do you believe you belong to Him, or are you still auditioning?
Romans 10:9–10
Say it out loud to someone today: 'I have given my life to Christ.' Confession with the mouth is in the verse for a reason — it makes it real in a way thinking never does.
Lord, give me the courage to say it today. Amen.
Checkpoint: Who did you tell?
John 1
Begin the Gospel of John, one chapter a day. Not Genesis — John. You are meeting a Person, not starting a history course.
Father, open my understanding as I read. Amen.
Checkpoint: Did you read a chapter today?
Matthew 6:9–13
Pray for three minutes in your own words. No formula, no special language. Tell Him about your day like you would tell a friend who already knows.
Lord, teach me to pray. Amen.
Checkpoint: Did you pray in your own words today?
Hebrews 10:25
Identify one local church and plan to attend this week. Not a perfect one. A real one, near you, that preaches the Bible.
Father, lead me to the people You want me among. Amen.
Checkpoint: Which church, and when are you going?
1 John 1:9
Write down what still weighs on you. Confess it. Then tear the paper up. It is dealt with — not because the paper is gone, but because the cross happened.
Lord, I confess it and I receive Your cleansing. Amen.
Checkpoint: Have you confessed it and let it go?
1 Peter 5:8
Something will come this week to make you doubt what happened. Expect it. It is not evidence against your salvation; it is evidence that something changed.
Father, steady me when the doubt comes. Amen.
Checkpoint: What doubt has already come, and what will you answer it with?
