What it is
From the Restoration Movement, aiming to reproduce the New Testament church. Typically no denominational hierarchy, weekly communion, and in many congregations a cappella singing.
What to listen for
Strong emphasis on the text itself. Ask how they understand baptism and salvation, as practice varies.
A label tells you the tradition, not the church. Two congregations under the same name can be entirely different. Visit the one on your road and put it through the questions from Scripture.
