Genesis 6–9
People had become very unkind, and it made God sad. But one man, Noah, still loved God. God told him to build an enormous boat — bigger than a house — and to fill it with two of every animal. His neighbours laughed. Noah built it anyway. Then the rain came, for forty days and forty nights, and the boat floated safely. When it stopped, God put a rainbow in the sky as a promise: never again. Every time you see a rainbow, that promise is still being kept.
Have you ever done something right that people laughed at?
I do set my bow in the cloud.
