The man who stopped
Luke 10
A man travelling a lonely road was attacked by robbers and left hurt at the roadside. A priest came along — and crossed to the other side. A temple helper came — and walked past too. Then a Samaritan came, from a people everybody looked down on. He stopped. He cleaned the wounds, put the man on his own donkey, took him to an inn, and paid for him to stay until he was better.
