David and the giant
1 Samuel 17
Goliath was a giant, taller than a door, with armour and a spear like a fence post. Every day he shouted at God's army, and every day they were too frightened to answer. Then a shepherd boy called David arrived with bread for his brothers. He said, 'I will go.' He would not wear armour. He took five smooth stones from a stream and his sling, and he said to the giant, 'You come to me with a sword — but I come to you in the name of the LORD.' One stone was all it took.
