The fourth commandment sets apart a seventh day for rest and worship. From the earliest records, most Christians gathered on the first day of the week because that is the day Christ rose, and called it the Lord's day; Seventh-day Adventists and others hold that the seventh-day Sabbath was never transferred. Paul addresses the dispute directly and tells believers not to judge each other over days, while the principle of a weekly rest is not a burden to escape but a gift most of us are refusing.
Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
