Singleness in Scripture is a state Paul actively commends, not a waiting room — he had more freedom to serve than a married man and said so. That does not make the ache imaginary. Ask God plainly, keep living a full life rather than a paused one, and refuse the two traps: settling for someone who does not share your faith, and treating marriage as the thing that will finally make you whole. It will not; only One can do that, and He is already available.
But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord:
1 Corinthians 7:32
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
2 Corinthians 6:14
Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
Psalm 37:4
