Loneliness is not a character defect, it is a signal working correctly — you were made for company, and the absence registers. God sets the solitary in families, and He usually does it through a door you have to walk through: a smaller room, a midweek gathering, a task where people work side by side rather than face to face. Ask to serve rather than asking to be befriended; friendship is mostly a by-product of shared work.
God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.
