I am anxious all the time. What does the Bible say?

The command not to be anxious is not a scolding; it comes attached to an instruction and a promise. The instruction is to move the thing out of your own head and into God's hands in specific words, with thanksgiving attached so the mind has somewhere to stand. The promise is not that the problem leaves but that a peace which does not make sense will garrison your heart while it stays. Do it in writing if your mind runs at night. And treat persistent, physical anxiety as something to take to a doctor as well as to God — Luke was a physician, and Paul kept him close.

Go and see for yourself

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Philippians 4:6

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

1 Peter 5:7

Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
