I am afraid. Where do I start?

Fear shrinks when it is named, because most fear is larger in the dark than in the light. Say the specific thing you are afraid of out loud to God. Then put the one who is with you next to the thing you fear and look at both at once — that is exactly what the fear not verses do, every time: they do not deny the danger, they name a Presence bigger than it.

Go and see for yourself

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Isaiah 41:10

What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.

Psalm 56:3

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

2 Timothy 1:7
