Pray like a person talking, not like a person performing. Jesus gave a pattern short enough to memorise in a minute: God addressed as Father, His name honoured, His kingdom wanted, today's bread asked for, debts forgiven both ways, protection requested. Use that as a frame and fill it with your actual life. And if nothing comes, pray a psalm out loud — the Bible hands you words for the days you have none.
After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Matthew 6:9
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Romans 8:26
But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
Matthew 6:7
