How do I find inner peace?

The peace Jesus offers is explicitly not the kind the world sells — He says so in the same breath as He gives it. The world's version depends on circumstances being arranged correctly, which is why it evaporates the moment they are not. His is a peace held in place by something outside your situation, and it is described as guarding you rather than as a feeling you generate. Practically: it comes to a mind that is kept on Him rather than rotating on the problem, and it comes after the worry has been handed over in words, not before. Peace with God comes first and is the thing everything else rests on — you cannot manufacture the second while avoiding the first.

John 14:27

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

Isaiah 26:3

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:7

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
